Omni – Accounts – Saving Results

 

 

You should use the Accounts Data and Draft Accounts functions on the Reports menu to prepare accounts for a scheme.

 

Once the accounts have been finalised, the Draft Accounts feature can be re-run and the results can be stored in the permanent accounts records (so that the data can be included in next year’s accounts under the previous year column).

 

These records can be seen under the menu option ‘Scheme, Accounts Details’. 

 

Any amendments that have been made to the Word version of the accounts after being produced from Omni should also be made to the Accounts Details screen in Omni.  All of the different items can be amended on the Accounts Details and it is important that the final information is stored so that the following year’s accounts show the correct position for the previous year.      

 

All of the items can be edited independently and it is important that the totals are amended to be consistent with any changes.

 

The information stored in Accounts Details is only used for viewing purposes and for the production of the following year’s accounts.  It is not used for the Pension Scheme Return or any other purposes.

 

As well as saving data in ‘Scheme, Accounts Details’ the net asset value will be stored as the Fund Value in the Contributions and Funds screen, as long as there is not already a fund value stored on or after that date.
